NBC News- Children who drink whole milk may be less likely to have weight issues.
Canadian researchers looked at 28 studies involving nearly 21,000 children and their milk consumption.
They found that those who drank whole milk were 40 percent less likely to be overweight or obese.
That’s compared to those who drank reduced-fat milk.
The scientists are planning another study where they hope to establish a cause and effect between whole milk and the lowered risk of obesity.
