Being in quarantine can be challenging for anyone, especially if you live alone. That’s why therapist, Caroline Thomas with Head & Heart Therapeutic Solutions in Traverse City provides some
mental health tips for people experiencing the stay at home order alone.
Thomas says one of the biggest factors to feeling mentally healthy and coping alone is to stay connected with loved ones virtually or over the phone. She says to make this a daily or weekly habit. Plus, getting outside to simply go for a walk, within a safe distance from others is also a way to boost someone’s emotions.
