MATT RIDDLE has enjoyed a long career across multiple disciplines – and it isn’t hard to see why when he can pile on the muscle with such ease.
SmackDown’s newest addition landed at an impressive 216 pounds in his latest outing.
According to Fightful, that accounts for a mega 46lb bulk-up since his previous appearances at 170lb.
Riddle, 34, began his steps into wrestling during his school days, scooping the New York state wrestling championship back in 2004 – having reportedly fought future MMA icon Jon Jones.
A promising spell on the amateur scene earned the American a shot in UFC and he quickly put together a 5-1 record.
However two positive tests for cannabis use annulled his victories over Chris Clements and Che Mills, and he was released from the organisation in 2013.
A year later, Riddle, known as the Original Bro, began training for professional wrestling and he once again worked his way to the top – reaching NXT in 2018.
A successful debut, involving victory over Luke Menzies, heralded a strong stint with the franchise that only recently came to an end.
And Riddle certainly has the muscle to compete with the big boys.
One Twitter snap of his impressive six-pack and pecs was captioned: “If 12 year old me could see me now he would be super stoked bro!”
