And if you’ve seen his intense training sessions on his social media channels, then you’d understand why the former “Baddest Man on the Planet” looks as good as he does.

Whether it’s hitting pads, smashing the heavy bag or lifting copious amounts of weights in the gym – Iron Mike is arguably in better shape than he was during his prime back in the 80s and 90s.

And if his Instagram page is anything to go by, he certainly hasn’t been shy in showing off his shredded rig to his millions of fans.

It appears the youngest ever boxing heavyweight champ doesn’t mind getting his kit off on live television too – as Good Morning America host TJ Holmes quickly discovered first hand.

During a live TV interview, Tyson and Holmes discussed his rigorous training schedule.

“It was very difficult but only for one particular reason – I had to lose 100lbs,” Tyson said.

“But other than that I’ve always done this my whole career.

“I became a vegan. My wife told me to get on a treadmill. So I went from 15 minutes on the treadmill and ended at two hours.

“I kept going to the gym and watching my diet and I’m beautiful.”

Which is when the interview took a slightly different turn of events.

After being complemented on his weight loss and impressive physique, Tyson thought one thing and one thing only: ‘I must get my kit off’.

Which is exactly what he did.

“You ain’t seen nothing,” he said while ripping his shirt off and flexing his muscles.

“I’ve got to show you my body man, I’ve got to show you how beautiful I look.

“This is where it’s at.”

It’s not the first time Tyson has left his mark during a live TV interview.

Throughout the years, Iron Mike has been known to have a unique relationship with the media (honestly, just YouTube his interviews – you won’t be disappointed).

But this time round with Good Morning America, Tyson proved he’s still the true showman that everybody loves.

Max Sherry is a journalist for SPORTbible Australia. After migrating Down Under from London as a teenager, he instantly fell in love with Aussie sport and its culture. From NRL to AFL, cricket to rugby — you name it, Max watches it (with a beer in hand, of course). During his time at Fox Sports, he worked in the football department covering the Premier League, A-League, Socceroos and Matildas. Born a stone’s throw away from West Ham’s training ground, Max is obviously a die-hard Liverpool fan.
