Although The Challenge season 37 veteran Nam Vo left in the first episode, he’s kept up his signature positive attitude and recently posted a photo on Instagram celebrating his five-year body transformation. Many fans were hoping to see more of Nam on Spies, Lies & Allies, but unfortunately, that wasn’t in the cards for him. However, instead of feeling disappointed, Nam is keeping track of the things he’s grateful for and inspiring others on their own fitness journeys.
Nam came to The Challenge after competing on Ultimate Beastmaster, but despite all his promising attributes, his debut season on Double Agents didn’t go so well. He and partner Lolo Jones had trouble working together, and later in the game, he had to leave due to medical concerns. Unfortunately, after returning for Spies, Lies & Allies, Nam once again dropped out of the competition. Nam has addressed his surprising exit but won’t reveal the reason why he had to leave the show.
Fans have always wanted to see Nam get a chance to compete because he has amazing physical strength, though he just revealed that he wasn’t always in the shape he’s in today. Nam shared side-by-side photos of himself in 2014 and 2019. He was obviously in great shape in 2014, but it’s amazing to see how much bigger and more defined his muscles are just five years later. “My transformation represents more than just skin deep,” Nam commented, “it represents my motivation, discipline, drive and willingness to constantly improve!”
The comments were full of kudos from fans who were hoping to see more of the promising vet in The Challenge season 37, and it’s easy to see why. Though Nam was certainly fit in his before picture, the after picture demonstrates an impressive level of dedication. It’s unfortunate that Nam went home so soon on Spies, Lies & Allies, but with his proven track record of working hard and giving it his all, Nam could potentially be a powerful competitor.
Although Nam hasn’t gone far on The Challenge seasons he’s been on, it’s definitely not because he’s out of shape. The former Ultimate Beastmaster takes pride in his impressive physique, and his recent before-and-after photo proves that Nam knows how to work hard for the things he wants. Nam may not have made it past the season 37 premiere episode, but if he returns to season 38 in his current shape, he could be a formidable opponent.
